Brian Ward is a biologist who has spent most of his working life writing about life sciences. He has written more than 50 books on health, medicine and many related biological and science-related subjects for a readership ranging from children up to doctors. Much of his time is now spent devising and writing educational medical programmes for the Internet, and in preparing training programmes for the pharmaceutical industry.
